Development Team Lead (Scum Master and Business Analyst knowledge, plus .Net and JavaScript ) Permanent Job in Mallorca

We are searching for a Development Team leader for our Client - a rapidly growing successful business in Mallorca, who is expanding the development teams, in the Palma based office.
As a Development Team Lead, you will lead a team of talented software engineers and QA engineers in developing, supporting and maintaining our platform. The client work with a wide range of technologies (.Net Core, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, WCF, MVC, WebAPI, SOAP, AJAX, jQuery, NuGet, Dapper, Redis, SQL Server, Mongo, Kafka), and although you do not need to be an expert in each of these, some working knowledge would be required.

Responsibilities
• Lead a team of Software Engineers and QA´s in the creation of high quality software within agreed deadlines.
• Assume a high level of ownership of all work developed by members of the team, from development through to live.
• Ensure the technologies, tools and techniques used within the team align with the agreed best practices defined by the Architecture Team.
• Work closely with the Architecture teams and actively contribute to the Technical Roadmap.
• Ability to still be "hands-on", with approximately 30% of your time still being coding.
• Work closely with the Scrum Master, Business Analysts and Other team leaders as necessary to create software that is cohesive.
• Proactively report and manage upwards to management and the business, so that they are well informed of the work currently in development.
• Provide feedback to team members, including regular 1-to-1 meetings.
• Understand each of your team member’s strengths and weaknesses and identify any training requirements.
• Ability to motivate the team and embrace a "continuous improvement" mentality.
• Actively involved in the recruitment of new teams member's.
• Works closely with other Team Leads and Architectures in the organisation (e.g. through community of practice / chapters).
• Actively involved in the Live Support process, where applicable.
• Be a champion for your area within the IT and business organisations.
Key Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a software developer, ideally working with Microsoft technologies (.Net). Java and other languages would also be beneficial.
• Knowledge and working experience working in agile developments teams
• A good understanding of development best practices, including coding standards, Unit Testing, OOP, GITFlow, CI and automation.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Spanish.
• Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
• Experience within the travel industry is highly advantages.
• Previous experience of leading or managing development teams is not essential, but would be beneficial.
• Experience of working within the Cloud (Azure, AWS) is not essential, but would be beneficial.
